BLESMA is a National Charity for Limbless and Ex-Service Men and Women, their dependants and Widows. The objectives of the Association are to promote the welfare of all those of either sex who have lost a limb or limbs, or one or both eyes, or the use of limbs as a result of service in any branch of Her Majesty's Forces or Auxiliary Forces and to assist needy dependants of such service limbless. We will also help those who lose a limb after service.

The Confidential Support Line is a free, contracted out service, operated by SSAFA, on the Army's behalf. It offers totally confidential, non judgemental, guidance to the Army community, from anywhere in the World.
The line operates 7 days a week from 1030 to 2230 (UK time).
Any vulnerable soldier or family member phoning (writing or emailing) the trained civilian support staff of the CSL receives guidance as to what their options are, the soldier/family member must then make their own decision as to how to progress the issues raised.
The CSL gives guidance on all personal/welfare issues including sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, racism, drugs, depression, alcohol, debt, relationship counselling and suicide.

SSAFA stands for Soldiers', Sailors', Airmen and Families Association.
We are the national charity helping serving and ex-Service men, women and their families, including widows and widowers in need.
Eligibility for our help is one day's paid service in any of HM forces and National Service. We also help those who completed a period of satisfactory service in the Reserves.
